PART ONE: BLOGGING
|
DRIVING QUESTION: How does analyzing multiple facets of a text help to better understand the text as a whole?
Blog Access |
The Facilitator should create a blog for your team using www.blogger.com. (Creating a limited Blogger profile is fine.)
The title of your blog should include the title of your novel AND all team members' names. Go into your Settings and find the "Permissions" section. Add your team members as AUTHORS by adding their email addresses. They will need to confirm the invitation by checking their email. You should also add me as ADMIN: [email protected] (after I have accepted your invitation, you can change me to an admin). |

TIP: Be sure to check out the rubric at the bottom of this page BEFORE writing your posts. Each post should include TWO quotes from the text with page numbers and an explanation of how the quotes support the point(s) you make. TIP: www.wordcounter.net is a great resource! |
Prompts |
Posts 1 and 2 (choose one of the following questions to answer for posts 1-2; use a different prompt for each entry):
Post 3 (everyone must answer this question): Each novel has a problem in its core societal framework that has caused it to become a dystopia. First, what is the central problem in your novel that needs solving in order to resolve the dystopia that has been created? Next, explain what led to the society becoming a dystopia. Finally, solve the problem. Determine a plan for how the society in your book can transition from the present dystopia to a functional and fair society. |
